Hi anyone using this new unit maybe or have a bit more info on the unit?Will it only grow soft corals?

depends on the depth of the tank

oh, there you go

Recommended best dimensions: 15.75 x 15.75 x 15.75H
Tank Size: (Min. 11.81 - Max. 19.69) x (Min. 11.81 - Max. 19.69) x (Min. 11.81 - Max. 19.69)

Zetlight Aqua Mini - 16W

Not sure if that is cm or inches

from another site,
With a brightness of 1070 Lumens and wavelengths 450-630 nm aquariums can be optimally illuminated with a maximum size of 40 x 40 x 30 cm;
Error 403 (Forbidden)!!1

that links still works... :)

Thanx alot Riaan my new tank is 47 by 45 by 49 so will only keep softies then!

we have sold stax of them for marine and No complaints - they are also a awesome clean colour .

We like them so much we've changed all our fresh water and our smaller stores fresh water tanks to Zet lights.
The fresh water also grow plants quite nicely.

I've just installed mine so I haven't got a long track record with them yet but they come highly recommended by the water boy which is why I bought it.

my tank is 80x40x40. do u guys think 2 of these units will work to grow softies and when i get more experience some harder stuff. i cant find any decent 2nd hand LED units for a decent price

Rather go for a T5 unit i had this zet light on a 60cm tank go look at nano tank threads under my 60 liter nano i change it with a t5 quad unit much better grow!
