Nice size tank with plenty of options!
What fish do you currently have?

tank looking good.
I would install a black (or blue) ABS sheet behind the tank. Nice to have a background other that the painted wall behind the tank.

I prefer black. Blue does allow for much nicer pictures of fish against the blue backdrop, but you have to keep the back panel clean then. black and you can ignore the growth against the back glass and leave it as food for your snails.

Hi,

I dunno how I am going to get to the back of the tank now because the fit is quite tight, but I also like the black background. Unfortunately forgot about it in the excitement of the new tank :(

I currently have a powder brown tang, two common clowns, 6 small blue green chromis, 1 unknown damsel, 1 other unknown fish, couple of crabs and snails and a sea hare.

still want : two clowns already hosting an anemone, Yellow Tang, regal tang, sailfin tang, chevron tang, purple tang, copper band, foxface, lemon peel angel, lots of shrimp and crabs and snails.

I hope my wishlist is not too big for the tank.

@marinenoob, for a 90cm DT, I think you might be slightly overoptimistic with the amount of tangs you want to add. Also, regals are long-distance runners, they need length to exercise. Purple, yellow & sailfin are ok with just hanging around, but will eventually need more space to keep harmony.
The fox would be ok for a while, but would eventually outgrow your system (sooner, rather than later).
So if you intend to keep the bigger fishes, I hope you have an upgrade planned for near future:)

The display is 1.5m, not 90cm.... i think the sump is 90cm:tt2:

My bad.

ABS sheet is rather stiff. The plastic is 0.9mm thick and hard. Would be easy to slide that in behind the tank. If you can support it at the bottom, the rest will stay up straight by itself. Then only need to secure the top two corners. Can easily cut holes around fittings if needed.

Hi,

Ya tank is 1,5m long and sump 1m. Total volume of 660L. I am considering a sump upgrade though. The tank was built by the excellent team at Dorry Pets and I must say I am quite a finicky when it comes to the finer details and they were by far up to the task. The built quality is simply excellent and well priced.

The other thing I need is upgraded lighting but the pockets are a bit empty now :)

If you are going to have lots of corals watch out for the lemon peel...

Tank looks nice. Dorry pets tanks are always good quality tanks.

great sized tank , i as well do think that the sump should be a little bigger.

Yip busy with a fellow reefer who is assisting me in designing a new sump. I am hoping to have it just slightly smaller than the DT. I have to because the upgraded skimmer, basically sucks almost all the water out of the current sump LOL.
