They stay small.
OK, they are not the prettiest of the hermits, very dull looking.

One claw bigger.
Grows bigger
Can climb over corals and bump things off due to lager shells.

Snails,
Nerita.

Various colours.

But leave the pure white ones and the stigmata

White ones will just keep on climbing out of your tank until one day you cannot find them anymore.

The Stigmata will just die, because they want to. they are a lot bigger than the normal Nerita with black body instead of white.

Turbo coronatus.

But they can get big, over time. So take the smallest you can find. Grow bigger than a golf ball. I got a couple and they are really slow growers.

but leave those looking like this where they are. They die very easily.

Their shell is smooth compared to the coronatus.

@RiaanP any knowledge about the hermit we have in the Cape?

I know its like a Brown/Green colour. Ive seen i few in local systems for months in warmer water but was allbig fish anyway

Cape Town water critters can handle warmer water for short periods at a time. Our tanks runs 24/7 at about 25 degrees Celsius. Their lifespan will be short if they adapt at all.
