I am not a marine keeper (yet), but I have looked at plenty pics and read plenty of material on it by now. I just ate a seafood pizza from Roman's and I was a little bit meh - maybe that shrimp had a name?

It was damned tasty though!

Has this happenened to anybody here? Anybody been put off of seafood for life by virtue of keeping them in a tank?

NEVER EVER! I like to drink a shot of skimmate every so often, just to keep my immune system on its toes!

NO WAYS.. Nor has it put me of slaughtering a few hundred snoek or a couple of bins of yellowtail in a day when I get the chance....

Don't know what you are missing;)
...yes I do... :005:..I can't eat Seafood...it leaves a "metallic" taste in my mouth...almost like I'm chewing on a piece of FOIL..:p...been like that since I can remember, hence me and Seafood is a...:nono:

definitely not. I have become more aware of the colour category the fish falls under, i support products that support sustainable fishing etc.
I live by this site - see link . In short, if its on the green list,i will eat it, if its orange I think twice and if its red, I stay away.

Good on you! I try to stick to it as well. Unfortunately I can't resist my moms Rockcod fish-cakes or smoked with some elf sawdust!

I castnet my prawns and spearfish... (almost) Zero bycatch!
