I thought I'd try changing some of my recent pics into grayscale. Here's what I came up with. Not as colourful, but I think it's still cool.

That actually is quite stunning. Your fire goby looks positively evil and the corals look like they come from another planet (although the sea is like a whole different planet anyway).

Strange how in black and white it seems that you focus more on the texture and lines in the photo. Stunning photos.

Looking good, have you tried doing the corals in sepia tone, like the goby, would like to see how they turn out.
 
Very cool, puts a new perspective on the pics, they seem to stand out more.

Yes I have. Doesn't look as 'dramatic'. The pics are on my computer at home, I will load them up tonight so you can have a look and see what you think :)
 
Looks really amzing, sometimes colour just detracts from the picture

Agree. Only nature can produce this degree of symetrical perfection. Organic design at its best.

LoL to you guys, no this photo is the one Seashell took (on first page). I just played around with it....
