I have been getting quite a few complaints lately from people both buying and selling things on the forum, complaints such as people placing dibs and then not responding to posts and PM's, people paying for stuff and not receiving it or being made empty promises about shipping etc.
I really hate having to enforce rules so strictly and be the bad person, but Please Note, if you stuff around in the For Sale forum then your access to that section will be removed permanently, without notification and without reason, don't come begging back pleading ignorance or asking for forgiveness. This may sound harsh but due to the amount of complaints coming in lately it's just not funny anymore and is taking up way too much of my time, good people are getting messed around for no valid reason.
Please familiarise yourselves with the rules if you haven't read them yet, and please be considerate of the other person when buying or selling.
With regards to dibs, it's up to the seller, if you place dibs on something ENSURE you are online every couple of hours, it is YOUR responsibility to complete the sale THE SAME DAY that you place the dibs, within reason, if you do not respond to the seller then the seller has all the right to ignore your dibs and put the item back up for sale. Placing dibs on a item and not responding on the same day or even worse for 2 or 3 days is just not on and will ensure your access to that section is removed. Likewise for sellers, if you place an item up for sale, ENSURE you are available 24/7 to deal with dibs and answer questions etc. Do not place an item for sale and then disappear for 3 days.
