Hi guys
thought i'll share with you how to do a fresh water dip on how to rid off Acropora eating flatworms and monti eating nudis.anyone else with this knowledge and ideas please share.
ive used this method several times with success.
place RO water in a container, get the ph up to/as close a possible as the tanks ph. Remove the infected acro or monti and dip four times for four seconds, and this will/should help with removal of the pests.
cool

What did you use to increase the PH of the RO water?

Good advice, thanks. Will this work if we decide to get some zoa's etc from the beach?

No need to do this with Zoa's. Just check for sundial snails, one or two of them can cause havoc with your Zoa's (Talking from experience here :()

just to add would this dip not be more effective if lugols iodine is added to the water?

Thanks, just a bit worried. On another thread someone collected zoas, and they got these funny gross orange eggs, and some form of slugs. Just wondering if this would help. It has really put us of collecting live.

No ain't got any yet, but have been researching them, and loads of sites talk about these creatures getting bleached or loosing colour from RO dips.
