Ok so here I sit and have wondering, this money and time consuming hobby that we so love, where did it all start?

I did some hunting on the net and can find a few places as to how it all start
Where it all started

The first Airpump (1908)

First motor drive skimmer (1971)

The first powerhead, built on that exact table, by hand by a gentleman name Norbert Tunze

Wow this pump was way ahead of the competion.Bought late 80`s

Just picture this.Your tank has six double air pumps running your under gravel filter.They make so much noise you can`t sleep at night.Then out of the blue you discover this little gem in a small LFS in London.
Well I can tell you we all slept much beter after that.

One of the few powerheads you could get, A huge investment when I was a kid, and that was for bathwater fish too
