I had a 50x50x50 cube with a Mp10 and the flow was never excessive for any of the fish and it included Firefish, Algae Blenny, Mandarin etc. None of them really strong swimmers and they were still fine.

Will the tank not be too small for the Tangs mentioned above?

maybe you didn have it turned up full:blush:? from what i saw , mp10 is powerfull.i might run 2 tho.. as for tangs, it will only be 1 (not confirmed tho) maybe small species ....

It will be too small for a tang. They need a lot of room to swim around in, I think 500l is the min. You can get a small one then sell it when it grows, but they grow pretty fast so its a hassle and a bit stressful for the fish. I got one pretty cheap, but then had to sell it after 3 months as it was growing too big and it was quite bleak having to let him go, I wouldn't be doing that again.

Imo rather spend the cash on a flame angel and a nice flasher wrasse then look at adding some smaller species like gobies etc.

Dude go gobies, that's what im gonna do, check out @Len's thread he has some pretty cool gobies.
I already kind of have my stock list planned, all the little cool fish I couldn't keep in my tank lol.

Damn I see Len already beat me to it lol, could you send it to me too please.

Youre tank is way to small for any tang even the little yellow tang. Tangs need swimmimg space and this isn't limited to liters but rather to places the tang can sprint for a while, so a four foot tank is the minimum for any tang IMHO. You have an 180 L tank. I would deffinetley look into the dwarf angels as the tend to nip more on LPS and clams then on SPS (flame(like previously said), coral beauty, elbi, heyhole, pygmy etc). Also have a look at firefish owh and the pygmy wrasse those things are darn cute:lol:

Here is a great site for fish lists for small tanks:

thanks guys and girls , i have decided against the tang and decided on gobies and a few beautifull wrasse,,,, as i have seen on nanoreef.com

wont go angels cause of there nipping as i may add some brains, and dnt want just your everyday usual fish, besides my idea is low bio load so minimal fish

If you have a good feeding regime, and you are willing to feed live brine, frozen Krill, cyclopeeze and marine mix...
I would suggest a small shoal of Anthias, especially our local goldie..
Very nice addition to any tank. Especially if you can get one male and about 5-6 females;)
