NASTY little(BIG) guy!! dangerous?

Pretty sure i just pulled one of these out of my tank...

woke up in the night last night and glanced into my tank with a torch...
only to see a worm swimming in the water!!!

this worm is on a guess 30cm long.

and am 90% it is the same as the one in the link below!!
yikes!!!

i'll upload a pic later tonight of my actual worm.

it is definately not a bristle worm

i didnt sleep well.
he is currently in a net in he sump. not a nice looking worm.
but also dont want to kill it if i miss ID the thing. but ya thick and nasty. at first i thought it might be a small eel.

i had one come out of my rock 2 weeks ago...but 30cm...only about 3cm...i got rid of it got a bad feeling and ditched it...i say rather safe than sorry..
