Target feeding your Froggie

I am doing some research around feeding your corals. As you can see I have another thread on feeding my bubble some lance fish and he loves it.

I have read during my research that some froggies love it some don't. Mine seems to hang on to the lance fish for a few mins before the flow pump blows it to kingdom come (the lance fish off the froggie).

I feed once a week some dry freeze (the powder) Cyclo-peeze for the filter feeders, but wanted to know if anyone feeds their froggie directly with something more substancial.

My previous frog ate fish, mussels and anything that he/she/it could catch. My current one does the same as yours, hangs on to some food, but it never goes into "mouth", also never see him/her/it catches small stuff.

They two looks exactly the same (to me).

I am worried about my tiny clown and my bubble that guy is a monster at night !!! I have seen him take out an entire lance fish that I feed him....

Fish seams to be OK around mean corals (famous last words) and mine avoid them even in the dark, but my refuigium light does put some light into the tank. Coral on coral aggression is another story, but a bubble is normally the mean one?

Fish I think is more a risk during feeding, my new Tail-spot Goby got so excited today when I feed him, that it swam face first into my Maxi Mini Anemone, got a bit of a scar, but seam OK.

On the other hand, by Clown Goby "host" in my Cat's eye coral and even sleep in it.:confused1: This coral is a serious hunter, eats anything (even ate a fan worm (long story)) and could give a anemone a run for its money when it opens up at night with all it feeder tentacles open.

At first I was worried that the Goby will get chomped, but now I am getting worried that it somehow tricked the coral into not feeding (and that it will starve)?

I would suggest keeping the predator corals well fed (under the overloading the tank with nutrients threshold), that way they should stay away from the fish. Night feeding with lance fish should work well :)
