fire shrimp vs cleaner shrimp

hi

i want to get some shrimps. whats the better choice between the two?
 
The cleaner shrimp is probably the better choice as it actively will clean fish and you will see it more the fire shrimp has intense colour but is very shy and hides alot so you may not see it as often, both will clean but the cleaner has more skill and nerve for it.
 
agreed with achilles i have 3 cleaners and 1 fire shrimp the fire shrimp is hardly in view and the cleaners are always out and about.

I also have the same as you and the fire is more willing to clean fish than the cleaner shrimp are
 
@ziyaad. so you can have both of them in one tank with no problems?

i have 4 cleaners, 3 fires shrimps and 2 coral banded and the busiest cleaning station are my fire shrimps, infact the fish form a line and wait...

the cleaners are getting bolder, and the coral banded shrimps just fight with my hermits
 
What size is your tank?
I used to only have 1 Fire Shrimp that hid, and a couple of Cleaner shrimps,
The minute I added more fire shrimps (another 3) they are also doing more work now than my 5 cleaner shrimps and running around all over the tank!!!
My opinion... have both, but have space so they can retreat every now and then from each other!:thumbup:
