Notes:
*easy to feed: eats frozen fish and mussels and small crustaceans

easy to keep, just keep a eye on him he will go into if he is hungry your overflow to search for food. If he is happy he wouldn't go wondering off.

good hiding places is a must for him but one would do

I am selling him because I got 2 of them in my tenk and the eel doesn't look happy.

This is an Urgent Sale!

Kind Regards

Mornè

Is this guy reef safe?? Any small fish in danger with him?

x small fish is a probleme, he is reef save, he is +30 cm I think :p haha he wont eat clowns but I am not that sure about the shrimps

This eel is reef safe but can be a bit unpredictable with small fish (newly added to the tank).
As long as he is well fed he should pose no problem at all. If introducing new fish, be sure to feed him before adding the fish to the tank and all should be well.
I have 3 shrimps with my eel and the 4 of them are inseparable. They live together in the same cave and have a great relationship where they eat the eel's left-overs and in turn they scrub his teeth and body for him.
Great tank mate to have, gives hours of entertainment. They are mostly nocturnal though and are quite shy but give them a chance and they are fantastic to have and to watch.

Hi Guys
Snowflake eels are not reef safe, they can and will chow larger fish.
I feed my eels generally every second or third day, even every day, depending on their moods.

Snowflake love hunting and stalking fish at night, if you have moonlights, see how they "torment" larger fish at night, they will even regurgetate thier food to take a fish, crab, shrimp or even large bristle worm etc.
(list of fish chowed over the past 2 years: valintini puffer and False eye, Lion Fish,Damsels, large gobbies, entire schools of mullets +/- 6cm long, large crabs, shrimp etc etc etc.)

PS: not Knocking your eel they are AWESOME, just a warning that they are NOT reef safe, but make unbelievably awesome inmates!

they are NOT reef safe

thats your opionion no stock of mine is missing nor have I got trubble with my eel if you keep him happy everything wil be fine and shorly you have seen my tank beautiful leathers and a few corals.
But I also think it depens on your stock you are keeping.

I only feed my eel when he shows up and thats every 2-5 days or even a week apart no TOCK IS MISSING OF MINE,

it also depens on how big this eel of your is if its HUGE then yes it wil cause a problem for you, this is just my opionon on this topic
