Hi guys.i have noticed a couple of Flat Worms on some of my corals.they are only on my Mushrooms and my Xenia.
i have heard of a Six line Wrasse, they say sometimes it works.are there any other ways of nuking them?

thanks.

I removed some of my liverock and pulled them out with longnose pliers, seemed to get rid of most.;)

Clinton, take the coral out and dip it in Tropic Marine Pro Coral cure. This stuff works magic for Flatworms and Nudis.

You can try sucking them off with a piece of small hose.

ill give it a try when i do my next water change.

thanks for the advice guys:thumbup:

I had millions in one of my frag tanks once. Got a six line wrass and have never seen another one. High water flow and water changes can also kill them though.

cool.ill be getting a six line wrasse hopefully by sat.i will also take a little bit of tank water and put it into a container.take the coral out and give it a good shake in the tank water, hopefully some of them will come off.worth a try:)

same problem clinton, shaking the coral does help, but also looking at a 6 line.

yeh they are a pain in the ass! finny might be getting six line's in.lets wait and see;)

I hope u not shaking the coral in ur tank...
They will just spread to other corals
Take the coral out he tank after doing a WC and shake the coral in the old water.
Just clarifing on that:p

I have done this already and it works i even used my fingers to wipe them off
once coral was back into tank it sulkked for a few days then came right.
just be gentle

My 6 Line did nothing to curb them, maybe I got a dud. Spotted Mandarins are also supposed to do the trick...but who knows.

Like I said to you just take the coral out and shake them off in some old tank water, probably the best u can do at this point.

Havent seen the product Mek was talking about in EL so may have to buy in from out of town. :)
