Woke up with a bang !

For those who do not know I am re doing the shop a bit (painting stands , changing plumbing etc) In this process I had to move some tanks around and one sump ended in the office / study for time being.

At 2 this morning I heard a loud crash and like a Guatenger I thought I was being robbed. On closer inspection I found that the bookshelf came loose from the wall & dropped right on top of the sump....needless to say time to build a new sump

Hell luckily the shops....strangely enough I normally use that spot to put tanks I build etc, learnt a valuable lesson

Dont ask ! Just to make it better, now upon closer inspection I see that not only 1 pane broke, the base cracked right through and a second pane cracked...thus in essence the sump is screwed !

Ha, that´s what I expected. Even worse if you have to blame yourself, hey?
I know that feeling. Not construction wise, but during my breeding experiences I also had to blame myself for many things.
That is where experiences are coming from. Mistakes!

LOL Marcel, you've known me qoute well over the last few months ! To make it worse the wife pointed out that there should have been washers involved in the assembly !

One good thing that came from this it made me re - look my whole filtration system for the shop. Might now even be able to incorporate a sock !
