hi dallasg

Yes i did acclimate him and the opening of shell face down.

cool, give him a while more, also try placing him in a shaded area

all depends, some hide some dont, just keep and eye on him, u can offer food like sentari mentioned

Hi guys

Still no movement on the hermit do you think he's okay or must i leave him till tomorrow.

when i got my first he raced around and climbed around like there was no tomorrow. Now he picked a spot and never moves. Somtimes he comes out other times he just stays in, 3 days now. I know they shed there skin so maybe they slow down when that is about to happen.

any news?

I Have Blue Leg Hermit Crab, It Only Likesto Move Around At Night, Never During The Day, Maybe Yours Is The Same

il treat them with some hake then

the thing is,they are the only inhabitants in my tank at the moment as im in my last stages of cycling

so what do they scavenge on?

maj if they are the only inmates obviously nothing to scavange on. as crispin said try an open mussel (pick and pay sells them), or a small piece of hake
im goin grocery shopping tonite, what mussels do i buy?does it say open mussels on the can?then i just drop them in the tank?ie 1 peice of mussel and split it up?
