Last night just before lights out, I saw that one of my featherduster worms were lying outside his tube, rhe head was gone and it seems totally liveless. I decided to just leave it as is , because I have had tubeworms before that seemed dead to just disappear under substrate and re-appear later with a new tube. ( or at least I thinks it was the same one re-appearing)

This morning it was laying in the same place, looking as dead as can be.

Half an hour later I saw the following happening, no words necesarry.
The whole episode took about 45 seconds. It struggled at the beginning getting a good grip on the worm, but after he did, the rest was plain sailing.

Enjoy.

This part getting a good grip took the most time.

Finally got hold of the worm.

Awsomw to see...i have the same starfish in my tank. They are a absolute pleasure to watch.

This one has one favourite spot in the tank and he will always return there after "work".

I have two of them in my tank...and both have their favourire spots were they hide. My one sometime burrows to hide underneath a rock structure.
