Hi Guys

I've been testing the regular stuff, but have gotten corrals lately and have only tested for calcium thus far.

What is the important stuff I should test for and also the important supplements to buy.

The reason I'm asking is because there is so many stuff in the shops I don't know what's really necessary.

Thanks

Yes and then most important to test for is Alk, PO4 and NO3

I've got LPS (frogspawn and hammer corals) thats why i tested the calcium and it was at 450, and i have softies (finger coral, star polyps etc).

My Amonia, Nitrates, nitrites, ph, calcium and silinity is perfect, thats the only things i've been testing for.

Many things bother corals a little or a lot, but the biggest of them all and one of the guys mentioned it by its scientific name, Phosphate, with out this not correctly accounted for you will never have luck with any corals long term!
It disrupts the symbiotic photosynthetic algae with in their cells and that means a guaranteed slow or quick death!
All the comments here are sound, but if you dose what is needed for growth, then that's useless it the corals are continually sick!
