Seeing the post from Dave F 'What is this? Can it be my clown spawning?' I realized that the following picture could be of my Tomato Clowns that probably Spawned.
I Discovered these strange new organism on the live-rock bellow my annemone on the left, tuesday 16 April

Is it or not? :p

At that stage of the game, the eggs would be orange. And from the picture, I assume that the male is not tending to the nest, or is he? I believe you have something else going on.

also, they will prefer a flat piece of the rock, not the edge. The area would be cleaned beforehand and the male will not move very far off thereafter.

Do clowns often lay eggs in the tank?
depends
Some never do, other do. And once they start they do it every couple of weeks. And then again they can stop again. It all depends on various factors, but other inmates do play a role. To aggressive or big and they will clean a spot but never do the deed. Then other factors like parameters and whatever else. Are they in the mood for love...?

Here is another picture. One of the clown are definately with eggs for most off the time, they are more defencive towards that spot and it seems like one is fining the eggs occasionally

I have gone through this! My wife told me to raise the fry at all cost!

Setup a fry tank, got the phytoplankton and rotifers!
Spent more more time keeping the cultures alive than enjoying my tank!

Never raised a single clown!
Try and stay awake when they hatch, it is amazing!!!!

Search for 650 x 650 cubie, got a few vids there!

Approximately 7 days, around 2 hours before dawn.
They are close to ready when you can see the eyes
