OMG I have just woken up to a cracked tank. Water all over the floor and tank half full.

What a wonderfully way to start the day. Will take pic' and upload the debacle. We have had this tank for many years and I thought it was one of the better ones with the curved front glass.

IMO now I do not trust any tank with a curved front panel.

well, good time to wash the floor. :)

Is it your own tank that cracked? the one at your front door?

Not good at all! I dont trust these Chinese imported tanks. Especially the rebranded Weipro tanks!

yep, i have been telling people for years that curved glass tanks are more prone to failure, and, they cannot be repaired cheaply if its the front/sides that go...

very stylinsh looking setup but not worth the unpredictability, where did yours rupture keith?

Eish, not the way to start a busy week. Good luck.

yep, i got tired of repairing tanks like this.. when they flooded the market thats when i decided to stop repairs :)

its nice to do the odd tank to keep the urge of building myself a new one at bay :)

Yes I know all about the jebo tanks. Had loads of them do what this one did. This particular tank belonged to a customer that emigrated. We looked after it for about 4 years before we got it about 3 years ago. And today it decided it had had enough.

Dam this is frustrating. We are just fortunate we are geared for emergencies and the only loss is the water and the tank that is unrepairable.

Oh well, will have to think about a replacement.
