Ive been using my lfs water for quite some time now and Ive been told that its Ro/Di water. Took some of the water today and had the TDS tested by a shop that sells water and the TDS reading was 225(no wonder Ive been struggling with algae since I stared). The TDS in our tap water is about 240. The water he sells in his shop has got a TDS of 3.
This is the parametres of his water. Is there anything unsafe for my tank in this water .? Ill only be using like 2 litres of this for top ups as Im using nsw for my water changes. Can I use the water.
Calcium : < 2
Sodium < 3
Potassium as k. whatever that means
Chloride < 5.
Sulphate (So4) < 2
Alkalinity (CaCo3) <5
Nitrate < 0.3
TDS 3
Ph - 6-8
Iron < 0.1
Magnesium < < 0.1.
