Hi all, please can you assist, We bought a flame angel on Thursday (2 days ago) and she is still not eating.

We dripp acclimated her from store water to quarantine tank and there was only 2 points difference in salintiy so the change shouldn't have affected her.

First night we gave her flakes as we saw her eat that at the shop earlier that morning, but no luck. Second day (afternoonish ) we tried some mysis shrimp and again no luck. That eve we tried blood worm and once again no interest. We also added some garlic guard and food enhancer to try assist. All food was removed after we saw that none was being eaten so tank was always clean after each feeding session. This morning gave a tiny bit of flake just to see but still nothing,

She is swimming around perfectly but not interested in food at all. Please can anyone assist us with our Flame Angel?

How old is your tank.
It's normal for a fish to not eat immediately. What other fish do you have?

Leave the food in, it may get hungry and peck after lights out.

How long was the period between bagging and releasing in your tank? I.e. How long was the drive home and how long did you drip acimatize for?

I know of some flames not eating for about a week. Keep nori in. Let her settle down I'm sure she will come right. Also, flames are naturally shy and will hide in the beggining.
