I have a 2m X 600 x 600 that I would like to do a FOWLR tank.
Can you guys pls help recommend a selection of fish that is easily available at the local retailers. I really wanted to get some Lion fish, but it seems like that really limits what I can ad to the tank then

I also really love Eels and definitely a Puffer and a trigger or two. Angels and butterflies are also on my wishlist. The tank will device my waiting area and tattoo studio...kind of serving as a window between the two...so I want it really spectacular! !!

Youve kind of listed every type of fish there is.
If its for viewing and keeping people occupied, id go for one or two show fish (like a large angel or trigger) and then lots of busy small fish (butterflies, chromis, damsels)
Or you go the opposite and have really nice scaping and only larger lionfish (like the lionfish exibit at uShaka).

Complete random question. ...... can you use lcd flood lights on coral? Saw a guy advertising them as marine lighting

Lcd or led? I have a 30w led flood light over some softies, zoas, palys and shrooms in my refugium. They open up fully and grow quickly. I think the 30w puts out about 6500k. light does yellow a bit after a few months. What I do like about the flood lights is the shimmer it gives off.

Im thinking of using the flood lights over a 1.2 im setting up. I will add some t5 blues with them.
