IM MiniMax media reactor for tl550

Hi very new to this.

So I`m seeking advice on IM MiniMax media reactor that I got laying around in a boyu tl550

Will it work?
Placement?
Media?
And should I run if during cycling

If you guys and girls can help please

Got no experience on those reactors. If it fits, use second or third chamber.

I've seen some good reviews on the Innovative Marine reactors, but have no direct experience with them. They seem to be able to do the job though.

Are you wanting to run the reactor in the TL550 or in a bigger tank ?
For the TL550 it would be fine to place in either 2nd or 3rd chamber, provided it fits as suggested by RiaanP. Just also check the flow through the back compartments of the TL550, as this can sometimes be fairly poor.

Media wise I would go for NP pellets, but IMO would wait until the cycle is done.
