Hi guysI am busy designing my new 2000 L coral tank for my factory as a display, hope to have it running by the end of the month.

My question is
Can one use a refugium with caulerpa or cheto (haven't made up my mind which to use) with an algae turf scubber. The reason I am asking this, is not for the use of removing nitrate, but to add more critters to the system.

I obviously will still have my DSB as well as live rock in the sump.

Look forward to your reply

yip sounds fine, the more filtration the better.
ideally what you want is the return of the refugium and algae scrubber to pass to the tank or dsb without a pump, else it kills the pods etc

I can help you with cheato in 2 weeks time. In meantime maybe somebody else can help you out.

Also update you location under your user CP. Easier for others to know if you are close enough to be able to help you out or not.
