Hey there MASA Reefers:)…. I woke up on Saturday and felt like setting up another fish tank in the house and decided it would be a great idea to set up one of our Aquaria AMZ37L Nanos. So check it out… it was so nice to set up.. :thumbup:here we go:thumbup:

Unpacking the box and the packing around the Aquaria Nano….

The Nano had a bit of dust in it from shipping so gave it a wipe down with a damp cloth and RO water from our trusted Aquaria PSI Marine RO unit….

Time to remove the filtration cartridges…..

Decided to add some of our fantastic Aquaria Ammonia removing Stones to the ceramic rings in the last filtration cartridge. First washed both the ceramic rings in RO water to remove and dust and did the same for the Aquaria Ammonia removing stones

Mixed them up really well 50/50……..

Now loaded the filter cartridge to just below the intake grid of the filtration cartridge ….

My NEW Aquaria AMW 37L Nano

Decided to add some AAA grade Aquaria Carbon to a small filter Bag as the last item of filtration…This carbon is so so AWESOME real AAA grade

Now remove the Skimmer and adjusted the flow intake to the lowest setting as the skimmer would need to settle in…[ may skim a bit wet for the first few days]….

Added the sand bed to the tank…

Added 4kgs live rock to the display section of the tank.. hmm time to aqua scape a bit…..Decided to add a few small pieces of Live rock to the Cheto cartridge chamber …

Filled up with NSW and plugged in the cables in…and switched on…

Added Cheto to the Cheto chamber and checked on the skimmer looking good….

My Aquaria Nano is looking good…..The lighting is really impressive and the night light blue LED’s as well …

Added a small amount of Aquaria Kalkwasser mixed with RO to the Aquaria Nano…... I must say as the owner of Aquaria it was really a pleasure to set up this Nano:lol:, easy to work in the filter chambers, good quality and gess what…it took me a whole hour and fifteen minutes to set it up….. And its really priced well:thumbup:.. pretty cool stuff Reefers it time to get one for yourselves you wont be sorry …

:lol:thats an aquaria setup:lol: it looks awesome and cant wait to see what you have planned for livestock. please keep us updated. Wish I owned my own shop. My house wouldve been full of tanks. I would have to buy two of each I buy for the shop. one for me and one for the shop. Ill leave it to the professionals.:whistling:
 
I saw one today at an LFS... was quite impressed! :)

Not bad but woulda thought it woulda been cheaper with the owner of Aquaria staying in SA maybe just a serious markup on there from the LFS. :whistling:

What's the RRP? Probably a serious markup. Rent seems expensive :p lol

Well with regards to the pricing…We decide as a launch promotion price should be R1399.00 in the stores.. this was given as a recommended launch price to all the stores in SA..that price of R1899.00:( is above our recommended retail , the recommended retail should be around :thumbup:R1599.00 :thumbup:..please let me know which store you were at, so we can address it with the store [PM me}. We were at one of the stores in KZN yesterday and they are doing fantastic with the new range and they selling them at R1399.00….:)We will do our best to keep the range affordable but Reefers please understand some of the stores may not want to listen to our advice..:whistling:

Great nano's these

i have the bigger brother of this little tank, fantastic setups and easy to run.
loads of lighting power in mine from the std 4x 24w T5's
skimmer works like a machine for what it is and needs cleaning every 2nd day.
all equipment really is top notch.

only issues i have had is the light to grow cheato in the back doesnt actually grow the cheato... i think a halogen upgrade might help this...
and overheating. when the tank is fully closed it quickly overheats.
i got round this by opening the front feeding flap and installing a PC fan here running off a celphone charger.
i am sure better options on cooling are available, but i just cant bring myself to cutting any plastic on this tank to mod it to look smart.

I would recommend this tank well over any Boyu, (i have owned the 450 and 550 models in the past) and this tank blows them both out the water.

hope i havent trodden on anyones feet with my comments here?

Thank you to all the positive comments With regards to the Cheato chamber light . We are confident that Cheato dose grow in there they have change the globe to a energy saving globe [cool white light globe] and it does not heat the water.:lol: We are very sure the R&D division tested this for us before we went to manufacture. ….. .:yeahdude:THIS IS THE NICEST NANO RANGE AROUND..CHECK THEM OUT.. Thanks for the feedback, i was just curious as you mentioned earlier it would be way more affordable and secondly a launching special would be the order of the day. SO YES reefers pm the man so he can tell you which stores to visit for the actual price.

See if you keep quiet you lose brother. And R500 bucks is way less and makes a huge difference, can get you some nice test kits or equipment for the actual tank then. ;)
